CALIBER 2026 Dashboard

An early prototype of a dashboard for a manufacturing competition, with the key number shown first: how many weeks before a failure the first warning appears. It was not submitted to the competition.

Overview

This is an early prototype of a dashboard for the CALIBER 2026 competition. The idea was to bring the numbers that normally sit in separate dashboards into one place: how much loss and downtime there is, which equipment is getting worse, which past incidents look alike, and which actions are still open.

Context

CALIBER 2026 is a competition organised by PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk. Our team of three students chose Case 2, Intelligent Manufacturing, which asks for a unified dashboard with AI insight and follow-up actions.

Design decisions

Big numbers come first. Every page opens with the same row of large cards, so the main answer is visible without scrolling or reading a chart.

On the Asset Health page the most important number is the warning lead time: how many weeks pass between the first alarm and the failure. The alarm line is yellow, the trip line is red and a red cross marks the failure, so the story reads at a glance.

The style is bold and flat, with thick outlines, strong blocks of colour and the same layout on every page, so a viewer who learns one page can read the others.

My contribution

I designed the dashboard and built its front end in Streamlit and Plotly: the four pages, the visual style and the charts. The data preparation and the analysis logic were done by my teammates.

Status

This stayed an early prototype. It was not submitted to the competition, so it was never judged, and it was not developed further.

The competition data belongs to the organiser, so the screenshots use anonymised sample data with generic equipment and plant names. The banner at the top of each page says so.
